Oasis is a group show with Mirko Borsche, Danielle Cathari & Nicole McLaughlin with Services Generaux We didn’t even notice that Mirko’s layouts were extracts from Wonderwall until we were already halfway through the project. We watched them, instead of reading them. They were these burtalist, straight-forward graphic layouts, conveying a sense of solemnity while nodding to hip-hop culture. It’s only when we actually strated working on it that we got the joke. And Mirko is right; coincidentally the lyrics echo Oasis’s concept. Or do they?
